Marmaduke Pickthall — His tributes to Maulana Muhammad Ali

In 1936, Pickthall wrote a review Maulana Muhammad Ali’s book The Religion of Islam which had just then been published. The review was published in the quarterly Islamic Culture from Hyderabad Deccan, India, of which Pickthall was editor.

We display below scanned images of the pages of the review, preceded by the image of the top part of the magazine’s cover for that issue. The issue is dated October 1936, and the review runs from page 659 to 662.

Sadly, Pickthall had already died in May, before this review was published.
