Woking Mosque Postcard, 1961
In connection with the Third Annual Convention of
Surrey Philatelic Societies, which took place in Woking on 28th
October 1961, Woking for the first time was accorded the use of
a special pictorial postmark depicting the Shah Jehan Mosque at
Woking. All mail posted on that day in the Convention Hall received
this special cancellation mark.
Below are shown the two sides of a Woking Mosque postcard,
with the cancellation mark on the front side.
